Nail cutting & care at home

  • Every 8–12 weeks or one-off
  • , no call-out fee
  • All 8 East London boroughs

Nail cutting is our most-requested visit. Whether your nails have become thickened or brittle with age, or you simply can't reach them any more, we will trim and file them safely in your own home. No clinic, no travel, no fuss.

What we will do

  1. 1. Assess: a quick look at your nails, skin and general foot health before anything is cut.
  2. 2. Trim & file: nails cut and filed properly with sterile instruments, including thickened nails ordinary clippers can't manage.
  3. 3. Advise: honest advice on keeping your feet comfortable between visits, and a regular slot every 8–12 weeks if you'd like one.

Who it's for

  • Anyone who can't reach or see well enough to cut their own nails safely.
  • Nails that have become too thick or tough for ordinary clippers.
  • People living with arthritis, Parkinson's or diabetes, where nail care needs a careful, professional hand.
  • Sons and daughters booking for parents. We are happy to keep you in the loop after every visit.

Good to know

My nails are very thick. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Thickened nails are one of the most common things we see. We use professional instruments designed for exactly this, so nails that ordinary clippers can't touch are trimmed and filed back comfortably in one visit.

How often will I need a visit?

Most clients settle into a visit every 8–12 weeks. That is about how long nails take to grow back to an uncomfortable length. One-off visits are absolutely fine too; there's no pressure to book a regular slot.

Is nail cutting safe if I have diabetes?

Yes. In fact, professional nail care is strongly recommended if you have diabetes, because small nicks can turn into bigger problems. We check the skin and circulation as we work. If you'd like a fuller check, have a look at diabetic foot care.
